Did you know?
In Indonesian we have Juara 1; juara 2 ; juara 3.
In English we don't say this. We use:
1st place is the Winner or First place
2nd place is Runner up OR second place
3rd place is third place, etc.
An exception to this is for Beauty contests, where they have a 1st runner up, 2nd runner up and 3rd runner up.
